Yes I'm expecting them any minute now if they don't drown first, which given our weather of late it is a distinct possibility. 2 inches of rain in 10 hours on Saturday night and it's still raining with more to come for the next 10 days. But at least we have power which we didn't for 2 1/2 days so it's not all bad.
Since we last talked Larry managed to fall and crack a rib so he's lying on the couch drugged out of his head on pain pills. The County declared one of our rentals substandard housing because there was a leak in the roof the the tenant said he would patch - with witnesses- and never did. So the leak leaked a lot which in turn bubbled the paint on the wall and softened the sheetrock. Thanks tenant. Then they moved out with no notice leaving this mess behind them expecting to be reimbursed for 2 months rent. Bah I say!
At least there is progress on the e.coli solving front. All is going well the next step is to drain the 8,000 gallon water tank, pressure wash it, refill the tank and shock the system. Keep your fingers crossed that at the end of all that we pass the water test. We're also going to install a UV filter but that doesn't need to be done before we shock the system.
My mantra has become "this too shall pass".
